Topic: Favorite Comedies.

Forgive me if there is already a thread out there (in HM's dark, dark past) that exists for this topic, but I was unable to find one - so in any case, here's a new one (unless of course one of our fine mods decides to provide the link to the old one)! What are your favorite comedy movies? You can do a top 10, top 20, or whatever chosen numerical range you feel best displays your all-time favorite comedies.

I'll start:

1) The Big Lebowski
2) Me, Myself, & Irene
3) Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke
4) Friday
5) The Jerk
6) Stir Crazy
7) Dumb & Dumber
8) My Cousin Vinny
9) The Odd Couple
10) Shaun of the Dead

~~
11) Princess Bride
12) The Super
13) White Men Can't Jump
14) The Blues Brothers
15) National lampoon's Christmas Vacation
16) Kingpin
17) Young Frankenstein
18) Liar Liar
19) Coming To America
20) Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls

~
21) Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
22) Tommy Boy
23) Happy Gilmore
24) The Cable Guy
25) Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
26) Super Troopers
27) Deuce Bigalow
28) Black Sheep
29) Joe's Apartment
30) 40 Year Old Virgin

I tried to stick with 20, but couldn't do it.

Re: Favorite Comedies.

Oh look what I started from my post in the Mainstream thread. lol

Dumb & Dumber
Zombieland
Scott Pildrim VS The World
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist
Zack & Miri Make A Porno

There's a bunch more but those are my top ones.

Yet, of course, one funnier may come any time, we never know. smile

Re: Favorite Comedies.

I'll go 20 (no particular order), though this list is really nothing more than the first 20 favorites that immediately pop into my head.  I'd really have to do some thinking to pick a genuine 20 absolute favorites list:

Young Frankenstein
Dumb & Dumber
Caddyshack
As Good as it Gets
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
The Graduate
Chasing Amy
I Love You, Man
Sixteen Candles
The 40-Year-Old Virgin
Trading Places

Dragnet ('87)
Blame it on Rio
There's Something About Mary

Re: Favorite Comedies.

Kristen Bell is my lover. Screw Dax. lol

This film was so damn funny. Brilliant piece of work. And the puppet show at the end was a blast...
