Re: Getting to know each other

Yes. I'll shamelessly say that I'm a pro. Spent my whole life since I'm born drawing comics. Born with a pen in my hand. big_smile

Done this I was 3. Already an Evil Horror fan. Hahaha
Troubled kid???

Re: Getting to know each other

I suck at drawing. I always loved doing it and would make comics all the time as a kid, and even attended art class. But I have no eye for it and I can't draw a straight line to save my life. Being colour blind also doesn't help.

Do you play an instrument, if so which one?

Re: Getting to know each other

Yup. Garage Punk Hardcore Bass.

Same Q.

Re: Getting to know each other

Yep, drums. A lot of traditional metal, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Judas Priest etc. Mostly just simple stuff, I'm not that tech. I would love to get a band together and just cover NWOBHM songs, or make a punk band and just make some crazy shit and cover Misfits.

Re: Getting to know each other

Drums, bass and guitar.  Been awhile since I've played drums and bass, though, but I spend several hours a week jamming on guitar.  I can play rhythm to pretty much anything, but I suck at soloing.  I'm self-taught and never took the time to learn scales, so...

Re: Getting to know each other

I play guitar, and I can play one song on Keyboard (Runaway by Bon Jovi).

Same Q.

Re: Getting to know each other

Guitar, almost my whole life. Semi-pro... I make money doing it, play a weekly jazz gig. I'm a good player. Jazz, funk, R&B... but sadly never a good rock player, even though I love rock music.

Re: Getting to know each other

I play Piano.  8th Grade AMEB.  I like to play for leisure and for my own enjoyment.

I wish I knew how to improvise, I envy those who can just think of music and transfer it to the instrument naturally smile

My question:

Are you flexible?

Re: Getting to know each other

Sometimes yes but most of the time not at all.
Don't try to make me change my mind, you'll waste your time. tongue

Same question...

Re: Getting to know each other

Morally: no.

Physically: stiff as a plank of wood

Time management: I'm easy.

Re: Getting to know each other

At a young 50 I can still touch my toes. So yea, I'm flexible.

Kidding aside; with 5 teenagers, and a full time job, I have to be flexible.

Flexible physically, hell no.

Re: Getting to know each other

Just recently been able to do some crazy yoga poses, it's taken me forever to get there and I'm super proud.

What is one thing you could have gone your whole life without seeing?

11,519

Re: Getting to know each other

Do you mean having seen something and wished you hadn't? Or just something that you don't need to see, like how a canned tomato factory works.

Re: Getting to know each other

Leaving out military atrocities I'd rather not remember, I'd say probably my dad's junk.  Walked in on him taking a bath when I was ten or so.  Scarred for life.

Re: Getting to know each other

I guess I mean seeing something and wishing you hadn't!
Sorry probably should've made that more clear.

Re: Getting to know each other

Yeah, the war stuff I've seen I wish I could forget.

I had to do grand jury and saw some nasty stuff during that, bad porno, some nasty results of some dust ups. But the worst was hearing a murder case. Wish I had never seen the crime photos.

Re: Getting to know each other

Yeah, I regret watching a video of a Mexican Cartel thing being beheaded with a chainsaw...and The 1 Lunatic 1 Icepick...I regret it so so much.

11,524

Re: Getting to know each other

Well... Mmmm... That's a hard one. So much stuff I wish I hadn't seen. Lemme think...

Ah yes. Columbia exploding and the 2 planes crashing into the twin towers are the sickest things I've seen. Yep.

That and the poverty and kids dying when I went to Ethiopia...
Poor them. Marked me forever. hmm

Same question.
