Re: The Dream Thread

I don't begrudge anyone their success; he's carved a niche out for himself so more power to him.  Personally, though, I'm not a fan.  Like, at all.  In any way.  And wouldn't mind if he disappeared from the face of the earth.

Re: The Dream Thread

I'll send my Demonic Mercenaries Legion after him, that'll do the trick. lol

Re: The Dream Thread

What, don't tell me Bieber is a member of HM please.

Hopefully if he is, he won't get LoudLon's Drop Balls classification. lol

Re: The Dream Thread

I've had a few dreams lately in which words that I've (seemingly) never heard of before will appear in some odd situation before me. When I wake up from these dreams, I make sure to perform a Google search just in case they turn out to be anything interesting. Here's the results:

The first word was "Monowave". Upon my Google inspection, I found the top results were of some sort of synthesizer created by Modulus Electronics. Meh, boring.

Then I had a dream which contained the word, "Theta III". This sounded much more interesting. I googled it and found it could either be:
a) Theta III is a fictional planet located in the Milky Way Galaxy, in the Alpha Quadrant near Babel in the movie Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (A film, despite any "Nerd!" status anyone might like to attach to me - lookin' at you Lon big_smile - I have never seen).
b) Theta III is a fancy amplifire produced by who cares.
c) OR, since Theta IS the eighth letter of the Greek alphabet, perhaps it's just that single letter repeated three successions.

I'm goin' with letter A. It's just cooler that way.

Re: The Dream Thread

I like the first one the most. I'm not a Trekie, much more a Star Warsonian but it's still Sci-Fi which I love as much as Horror so... lol

Re: The Dream Thread

When I had a job answering phones, I was required to give the same scripted phone greeting hundreds of times per day. During my off time, when I was asleep and my home phone would wake me, I would automatically answer it, Welcome to... can I help you? It was awkward.

Re: The Dream Thread

@Creature- You haven't seen Undiscovered Country?  One of the best.

I dreamed I was changing the light bulb in my bedroom.  I have the most awesome dreams, eh?  sad

Re: The Dream Thread

I recently had a dream that a spider had one of its fangs caught between my bottom teeth. At first it was small. Then it started getting bigger and angrier the more I freaked out.

I have a lot of dreams about spiders and they seem to get closer to me every time. It's only recently that they've started appearing on me, and now IN me (my mouth anyway). I dread what's coming next...

Re: The Dream Thread

First of all, welcome NonEuclidean.
Check the Introduce Yourself thread in here: http://www.horror-movies.ca/Forum/viewt … 09#p651809

And azathoth, yes, definitely awesome.
Me well, been a few days I dream about the GORGEOUS Rosie Jones. First one I was downloading naked picts of her but she finally appeared for real in my bed. The other one was well, just imagine what I'd do to a naked girl in my bed. lol

Mine are definitely more awesome azathoth. tongue

Whatever you do, do not read This Book is Full of Spiders.

Well I'm going to regardless. I may be a bit arachnophobic but that doesn't stop me watching movies or reading books featuring them... or allowing a spider to live in my bathroom cause I'm too chicken to go near it.

Re: The Dream Thread

Generally I have pleasant dreams but a few occasional nightmares.

In most nightmares I am being chased or pursued.

In one dream I was being pursued by a tiger and when I got to a bridge to cross a body of water, the bridge was out!

I have had a couple of nightmares in which I was being attacked by spiders. I suffer from arachnaphobia.

One night I was having a nightmare and started screaming. I scared just everybody in the house to death.

My most unusual dream was that I was dressed as a woman in a long evening gown and heels  ( can't imagine why) and was being pursued by some dark looking creatures.  My flight was hampered by the long dress and heels which kept getting in the way.

I always enjoy the pleasant dreams where you wake up and go back to sleep and continue the same dream. Ever happen to you?

Well, nighty night!

Re: The Dream Thread

Yeah, waking up and going back to sleep to continue the same dream happen to me quite a bunch. Last week, my cat was in her horny days and she kept meowing and I was going back to the same dream. Then I got annoyed and put her in the bath room, closed the door and back to the same dream.

Last night was a really rad one. I was flying like a bird, floating in mid air. Was insanely cool. big_smile

Re: The Dream Thread

Last night was probably one of the best I've done recently aside the wet ones.

Was riding my cat Sweet on a big hill full of white sticks coming out only to discover that the sticks were actually hair and that the hill was a boob. Yup was riding on a naked girl's body. Decided to go see down in that wood in the valley but as soon as I got near the cave, I woke up. DAMN!!! Could of waited a bit to ring that damn alarm, shit. Would've been interesting. lol

Re: The Dream Thread

A couple of times now I've had a dream that there was a little known Nightmare on Elm St movie that came out BEFORE the original. It starts with an overheard conversation in which some folks (I don't know who cause I can't see them) are talking about this movie and about how it's supposed to be a much lower budget flick, but many times more viscious than the one in 1984. After that I'm kinda watching it and experiencing it at the same time, and there's kind of a hodgepodge of imagery... a dilapidated house on the beach at night featured the most prominantly, the after effects of kills and all that, blood on the shredded walls and floor. Oh, and Nancy was the star. It wasn't actually a nightmare though, strangely enough.

I also recently had a dream that my hubby and I were living in some upscale apartment building and discovered that there were murderous spies amongst us. They were leaving us clues as to the whereabouts of a body they had stashed either in the walls of the building or somewhere outside, but close by. We were going from apartment to apartment finding all these paper notes leading us further into the mystery. At one point I found a couple of locks of hair, one ginger and one blonde, left beside a projector. There were people all around us in that room as it was some sort of dinner movie party, and I guess the clue was that the spies were either in the room, or that's what they wanted us to think. I didn't get far enough into it to solve that riddle cause I woke up. Too bad, it was really interesting.

Re: The Dream Thread

The one I did last night was soooo damn weird.

A head doing acrobatic skating. Yeah, just the head wearing skates.
I'm sure it's because on the news they talked about my girl cousin's daughter which is getting better and better at that sport.

Re: The Dream Thread

Heh heh, this morning I dreamed I was in a fight.  Vampy woke me up because I was punching her shoulder, then she turned over and I got her right in the chin.  lol
Luckily I didn't have enough room to wind up or anything.

But here is the weird thing- earlier in the day she took a nap and had a bad dream, so I woke her up.  She said I was hitting her, and the last hit was to her head.  Psychic Vampy?  TimeLord Vampy?  oooWOOooo

Re: The Dream Thread

^^^
Wooow. That's pretty damn wild.
And we have the proof that you beat your wife right here. lol
I'm kidding of course.

Re: The Dream Thread

^^
Well now I can answer the question, "When did you stop beating your wife?" lol  She got back at me later when she jumped into bed, closed her eyes, said "I'm sleeping" and started punching me!  Oh, that wacky gal.  big_smile

Re: The Dream Thread

I've had a lot of weird dreams lately - but I can never remember too many of them once the day begins. Isn't that how it always works?

I had a dream I was gong to live in space for 3 years and I was on the space ship and looking out the window and the first thing I though lt of was, I'm going to have a lot of movies to catch up on when I get back.
I also has a dream about cannibals but I don't remember what exactly, but I thnk it was because I watched a documentary in cannibalism earlier that day.

Re: The Dream Thread

azathoth, people that are the same get together. Wacky monkey. lol

Vamp_Slayer, funny that you said you'll have a lot of movies to catch up, I would've said something else. Probably I need Porn here. Hahaha

Hahaha, well I was with a big group of people going to space, I wasn't alone. They're all going to have their needs eventually.

Last night I had a dream that Sarah Michelle Gellar was in The Avengers sequel. I was honestly very sad when I woke up. Get on that Joss Whedon!

Re: The Dream Thread
