The one on the left is 7 light-years long (oh, can't wait for the jokes on this....). As a measuring stick (keep digging the hole, Az...), that graph Punk posted a few posts above with the Oort cloud: Sun to Oort is 1 light year.
Sadly, it seems that a supernova may have ripped them apart.
Tangent- I saw an episode of The Universe (S7E2) called "How Big, How Far, How Fast." (Jeez, I think I dug all the way to China at this point.) It was all about trying to show how everything in the universe is so gigantic in relation to what we perceive daily. Lots of practical examples shown.
One example- they had a bowling ball for the sun, which roughly equals about 1 foot=1 million miles (1.6 million kms). They put out the solar system, and Neptune ended up being ~4000 feet (1200 meters) away.
