Re: Exhumed- the movie

Very cool!!! I don't think it'll ever be here though. But if a miracle happens and it shows up, I'll put it here.

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Punk... I know you're in the Great North (of me in Canada)... and here's all the places EXHUMED is available VOD, including Canada!

Cox Communications (USA), Charter on Demand (USA), Verizon Fios (USA), Media Com (USA), suddenLink (USA), RCN (USA), Optimum (USA), Frontier (USA), Rogers on Demand (Canada), Shaw (Canada), Shavv (Canada), Cogeco (Canada), EastLink TV (Canada).

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Oh well means I'll have to go to my brother's to see it, he's on Cogeco. Cause none of them I can get. Ah well, no problems as I'm about to go see my little nice in the next weeks. YAY, can't wait to see it. big_smile

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Good news for my friends in western Europe... EXHUMED has been picked as an official selection at the 2013 Razorreel Film Festival in Belgium this October!

Re: Exhumed- the movie

OH WOOOW!!! Razorreel is great.

But you know what man, I wish you'll win an Oscar and I have just seen the trailer and screenshots. lol
Truely wish it's gonna have a nice life this one.

Re: Exhumed- the movie

A new review... this just in from director Richard Griffin...

"I am ecstatic to announce that another rave review of our film EXHUMED has hit the intertubes. It's wonderful to see that in this time of cookie-cutter sequels and remakes that critics and the viewing public are embracing this uniquely off-kilter movie we all made!"

From the review: "Bottom line is, Exhumed is close to being an indie horror masterpiece! The movie is like a Twilight Zone episode that Hitchock directed, yeah it’s that good."

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Wow man, what a great one that is. H3LL, Twilight Zone directed by Hitchcock, I guess you should be very proud of that cause damn I would. big_smile

ClapClapClapClap!!!

Re: Exhumed- the movie

^^
Spiffy!

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Since the DVD release of EXHUMED, more and more reviews about the film are coming out... and they are positive.

Here's one...
From the review: "This film is a throwback to when horror scared us. In a year filled with 200 million dollar CGI nightmares and Michael Bay remakes, I think it is important for us horror fans to run into the underground and find the sleeping giants that await us. This film is one of them."

http://horror-punks.com/group/movierevi … cs/exhumed

Another...
From the review: "This is a very eerie and atmospheric film, and I would highly recommend it to any horror fan."

http://deadlyindie.blogspot.com/2013/07 … eview.html

Another...
From the review: "great direction and camerawork that intentionally rely more on thrillers of old (including black and white imagery) than recent shockers. Absolutely recommended!"

http://www.searchmytrash.com/movies/exhumed(2011).shtml

And this one... calling the movie "An indie masterpiece."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOYNSFqNPMk#at=18

This is very cool and I'm pretty excited about how well it is doing.

The next film (that is already in the can) is NORMAL. The trailer should be released very soon!
And there may be a post-apocalyptic film that goes into production with the same director later this fall that I just finished reading the script for, and it will be very cool if it gets done. We may be relying on building funds through Indie Go Go if it happens. I'll let you guys know about it if it happens! As always no pressure to give, but getting the word out will be so important!

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Man, that's truely freaking amazing all the goodness that's said about it. Great job...

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Another glowing review comes down the pike!

"Exhumed is one of those really rare low budget films that should leave a lasting impression on you."

"This is a movie that requires all of your attention. Go into where ever it is you watch your movies at and throw yourself into it. Turn off your phones and computers as well. Distractions could cause you to miss some of the things that make this worth the watch."

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Kick ass man, extremely kick ass!!! big_smile
I'm very happy for you.

Re: Exhumed- the movie

I hope my posts here don't come off as exploitative but I'm just so happy that this film is getting such good reviews, and I feel like I have a good community of friends here at HM (even though I'm still relatively new) to share this stuff with.  Another cool review came out today...

"The film is captured with a stunning Black and White palette, by Director of Photography, Ken Willinger and his team that gives the film a truly classic look and feel. It truly is a treat to look at. I just wish that at least half of the independent films being made today had this much effort put into them, as Griffin and company have done here."

Re: Exhumed- the movie

I'll send those that find it exploitative Malebolgia.
Should fix it. lol

Wow man, looks like you really did a great job buddy, everybody's throwing flowers at you.

YOU RULE!!! big_smile

Re: Exhumed- the movie

Hey getken I love the amount of dedication and buildup you've put in to this movie and I like your cast. I am making a SpiderMan series I plan on posting on Youtube and my project has been on and off several times because I'm still working on the script. I also noticed you're from Boston and thats not too far from where I live {Rhode Island}. Can I PM you on my project?

Here's a review of EXHUMED that came in from across the pond!
It is nice when your work gets noticed!

"Cinematographer Ken Willinger really does make things consistently gorgeous on an aesthetic level: EXHUMED's biggest asset is its look".
