I'll try and get ahold of the orphanage.
Meanwhile, it's time for Black Sunday for the 127th time!
Yay!

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

The Orphanage is definitely a masterpiece. One of Del Toro's best really. smile

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

The Orphanage is great, but maybe not as great as Black Sunday.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

With a name like that it's not a big surprise.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

I mean, I fully understand "low budget", but for fuck's sake a 5-year old could have made a better (and more convincing) "Radioactive" warning sign with cheap card and a printer...

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

I already saw the classic zombie movie Don't Open The Window aka Let Sleeping Corpses Lie aka The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue....

Tonight, going to watch a few of the "don't's"  starting with:

Don't Go In The House.....probably a rewatch, but I want to check it out anyway.

In '79 I was on a Halloween kick.  Nothing could compare to it.   He Knows You're Alone was a close second as far as whipping the audience into a horrified frenzy.  Mother's Day a third, so I'm guessing when I originally saw Don't Go In The House, I didn't dig it.

On second viewing I highly recomend it.

It was a cool movie along the lines of Maniac, Driller Killer or Raw Meat.

Saw a trailer for that before Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things, looked awesome.  Let Sleeping Corpses Lie is a classic.

Sleeping Corpses is fantasmatic!!! smile

FORGOTTEN-DU HAST ES VERSPROCHEN [2012]

What an incredible little Ghost story from Germany this is.
Creepy as H3LL atmosphere and wonderful visuals. I like the twisted story too. Anyways when there's Ghosts in a flick it's ALWAYS TWISTED!!! lol

I really enjoyed it. European cinema is awesome.

Well NO. WORLDWIDE cinema is awesome rather. Hahaha

Don't Go in The Woods Alone.

only seconds in and it looks cheap.   While Friday the 13th had a murder in the first part, it was both frightening and gory.   This seems like a lame attempt to copy it.

at :27 in....As a slasher film, it has some good kills.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

I think I was a little tough on don't go into the woods alone.  If the production, effects and acting were better it could have been a hit.   Basically it was just wrong turn done in 1980!    Not great but not tthat bad.

Re: Last horror movie you watched?

Where the Dead Go to Die
