ARGH!  Here I am, been DL'ing that doc for almost three hours, and it's only 4% completed.  Lon's gettin' angry!

It might be faster just ordering the Blu and waiting for it 2 arrive lol

True, but I'd have to have money to spend first.  And to get money to spend, my bum ass would first have to find a job. lol

Fair enough. I ain't got a job either - and I know its pretty damn difficult to get one. The only way I could afford it was I still have quite a bit of my uni student loan left over.

Re: Last Documentary You Watched?

No Direction Home (Re-watch, 2005) - 9.5/10

Documents Bob Dylan's rise to fame as a folk singer to his switch to rock/pop/electric blues & the reaction it received by the public. The film ends in '66, after Dylan endured his motorcycle crash and stopped touring until the 70's. Directed by Martin Scorsese, with tons of archival footage (previously unreleased) and solid, intriguing interviews -- including Bob himself. Super, super great documentary film...probably my all-time favorite.

I just wish there were another part to "No Direction Home" which would cover Dylan in the 70's, 80's and beyond.

TWA 800 Documentary. Plane blows up, cockpit and first class fall to the water...11,000 feet. Rest of plane keeps climbing and falls from 14,000 feet. And some people didn't die until they hit the water. Terror.

Re: Last Documentary You Watched?

Man this one is just so freaking cool for me.

1914, a big boat a bit smaller that the Titanic that sunk 2 years before got hit by The Storstad, a Norvegian Cargo. Sink in freaking 12 minutes with 1012 persons onboard.

Happened right in front of where I was raised. There's even a museum about it a hundred feet away from home.

Always loved boat and this one as always passionated me through the years...

You could even go underwater to see it, there was even companies that do that.

More about this huge tragedy on Wiki baby: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RMS_Empress_of_Ireland

The Norvegian ship had a kick ass look. big_smile
