Tom's Sci-Fi ones are cool. His Oblivion one was great.

Re: Best sci-fi movies

Never saw it, I wanted to, but it had pretty mediocre reviews, and I'm not normally a fan of the Cruise. But I think your right, his SF flicks are his best.

Re: Best sci-fi movies

Didn't care for OBLIVION after the first half hour.------Let me add COWBOYS AND ALIENS to my list.

Cowboys & Aliens is a rad flick.
And Olivia Wilde is a wonderfully sublime girl.

Re: Best sci-fi movies

I'm glad to see that somebody agrees with me.  The movie is borderline unpopular and goes over the borderline with some, but I sure don't know why.

Some have no idea is why.
Mwahahaha lol

Emily Blunt is fantastic in EVERYTHING.

Re: Best sci-fi movies

Pacfic Rim takes my vote for best sci fi movie. That movie holds a special place in my heart because it reminds me of my childhood shows such as PowerRangers and BeetleBorgs. So there's a bit of a nostalgia factor.

Re: Best sci-fi movies

I don't know how PACIFIC RIM would come across in 2D though.

I wish I could see it in 3D. Still good in 2D but damn that must kick so much ass in 3D... roll

Re: Best sci-fi movies

It was nice but unnecessary, like most 3D movies it's just a bit of added depth, not a lot of real 3D action.

Re: Best sci-fi movies

Altough the first 2 ones I saw, Resident Evil Apocalypse and Underworld: Awakening were a GIANT HUGE BLAST to me. Nice discovery.

Just annoyed by the much more expensive entry fee they charge it's crazy...

Re: Best sci-fi movies

^ Yeah that is BS. My Bloody Valentine 3D was the first one I saw, and was by far the best film for 3D I have seen. Plus it was a blast in general. I heard Avatar and Beowulf were amazing in 3D too, but only saw the 2D versions. Every other film I've seen in 3D, while a nifty little feature, is not necessary and rarely worth the additional 4-5$.
