Machine Gun Preacher (2011).  Biopic chronicling the journey of Sam Childers, an outlaw biker/drug addict who found religion and became a freedom fighter and missionary in the Sudan.  Scary in its recounting of the absolute horrors faced by orphaned children in the Sudan and Uganda (abducted from families, raped, tortured, murdered, turned into soldiers, forced to participate in ritualistic murders and all manner of other inconceivable atrocities) but despite his deeds, it doesn't paint a very flattering picture of Childers himself.  Or maybe it was Gerard Butler's performance; he makes a good action star but here he's seems stiff, as if not up to the task of playing a real person with real faults, real emotions, etc.

Still, a good watch, with some powerful moments.

It was really good

Re: Last Mainstream movie you watched.

NEBRASKA (2013)  Great acting and worth watching, but I thought it was a bit overrated by it's ravers.  Mildly alzheimered old man Bruce Dern wrongly thinks he's won sweepstakes, manipulates son into driving him to Lincoln Nebraska to pick up his prize.  Good (but not great) road comedy was shot in black and white to woo critics.  Recommended but just slightly so, watch but don't get your hopes up too high.

South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut:

Too cliché for its own good now, but "Kyle's Mom's a Big Fat Bitch" still gives me a chuckle here and there.

You. Saw. Nothing.
