Topic: Deadlands : Spread The Virus Contest!

This is where you can post your Deadlands Spread the Virus efforts! You can get more info on this contest here http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_6652.html

The object is to see who can most creatively link to that article on Deadlands featuring a brand new 3minute clip from the film. See the link for complete details, suggestions, etc!

If you want a really creative choice. You can put the 3 minute clip on your myspace, blog, whatever by cutting and pasting the following code. IF you need any help or want ideas, just ask! The goal of this is to give you all some free stuff and promote our coverage of Deadlands and in turn the film.

haha ok but remember, the contest is to get the most creative link to the news item. Its how we can really track and see who did the best job!

So no skywriter then, but I will keep thinking. Perhaps I will write the address on my body and streak a televised sporting event. On second thought, its hard to read the movie's title when your shielding your eyes.

For my next act, I uploaded it to Uncut Videos which is AOL's video site. Hopefully it will get a lot of exposure from AOL members. I provided a link to the review and the news article on horror-movies.ca since you can't upload html.

You may be only able to see it if your logged into an AOL account. And it may be removed due to content, but we will see.

Also, myspace was updated with a link to the news article and with the horror-movies html video.

There it is on my Myspace. I also put the link to the article in my sig and my sig over at Movies Online. This movie looks great and I'm sure could use the promotion. Lets not forget that if you promote you also get a shot at winning a free autographed copy of the film.

So who is in the lead so far? Is the contest still spinning. I found a few places I have seen the virus spread. it seems to be popping up on myspace.com quite a bit.

Alright, so I started this thread over at dvdtalk.com and it has over one thousand views. I can't tell you how many of those went to my Deadlands page, but I can guess a few did. Also, I updated tonight with a clickable link to hm.ca, before I just gave a shout out.

That is strange, although they do have a thread for adult talk where adult dvds and what not are discussed. So I would guess that is why. But my thread is no where near that section.
