^ did either one of the movies link two inmates of the oppisite gender? that keeps sticking in my mind, and it seems they were on some sort of farm work program w/in the prison.

The one you are thinking of is Wedlock. He figures out his "secret partner" is a certain woman and they both escape.

I thought it was ok, and liked the first half of the remake...I just am not that big of a fan of Asian cinema I guess...
