Then out of nowhere comes the blond dude and the bags and the bowling alley (I think it was a bowling alley, having a hard time remembering) and it totally lost me.

Here is the best way I can describe that character:

He is John Mark Karr.

He isn't actually responsible for the Suicide Club (he didn't actually kill JonBenet Ramsey) but he is a creep who wants to take credit for it.  He is an evil person because he did kill people (child porn charges) but all he would really wanted was to become famous and take credit for starting the Club (take credit for the murder.)

It could have actually been left out of the movie, but it was such a great scene and made things even more interesting.  At least for me.

That helps a bit.  Thanks for the exposition, I hadn't even thought of the flick until I saw and replied to this post today, and the who's and why's have been nagging at me ever since.

thanks for starting this topic vorwald2006, it sounds like a great flick. Can't wait to acquire this one.

No problem!  Its actually been a long time since I looked at this topic and didn't think it had gotten this many posts.  I also haven't seen the movie in ages so I might have to pick it from ebay or something.  Definitely worth a watch and if you want, Youtube has the opening scene where 54 highschool girls jump onto subway tracks!  A true blood bath!  Hope you enjoy the movie.

Re: Suicide Club

Well the opening scene was good and the film was cool til like 45 minutes into it and then it went downhill for me with the annoying kids dance tune on tv, the kid phone calls with the coughing, and the stupid fruitbat named Genesis.

Re: Suicide Club

Don't forget the 'item' in the briefcase...

It may be confusing and weird, but SUICIDE CLUB has several uniquely memorable gross-out scenes, where many horrors don't have any.

Are you talking about the rolled up skin that was sewn together?

Re: Suicide Club

Er, yes. I was trying to be subtle and not dish out any more spoilers!

Re: Suicide Club

One of my favorite scenes comes from the song "Mail Me" by the group Dessert and all the different people are torturing themselves different ways and without a care and not feeling any pain at all. Eh. The whole entire movie is my favorite. I love every single part of the movie and can't get enough of it. I can literally watch it over and over again and not get sick and tired of it.

Re: Suicide Club

my favorite part is the openeing scene, where all the girls jump in front of that train. i also liked the part where the blonde guy is singing that song and his friend is killing the girl under the sheets
