When the lovely Angel disappears following a jubilant graduation party, leaving only questions. Years later, her group of friends numbers diminish at the hands of a mysterious serial killer, Angel’s ex-boyfriend attempts to answer all questions surrounding her disappearance and the subsequent string of murders. Celebrated worldwide as the first Chilean horror film after a highly successful theatrical run, Olguin’s ultra low-budget debut packs in more scares and suspense than the Scream trilogy but also features creative murder set-pieces, harrowing pacing and a terrifying plot that will rattle even the most jaded genre-fan’s bones. Fans of Argento and Fulci will stand up and take note of this distinctly South American take on giallo mythos in a murder-mystery drenched in blood with style and substance to spare.
