Nursie

Taking its cue from MISERY, this award-winning chiller is a claustrophobic tale of a hapless patient who falls into the hands of a brutal caretaker. Dr. Zack Peters is on his way to visit a friend with an attractive blond nurse as his companion.

Driving through the dark Louisiana bayou country, the doctor is run off the road by a truck, and the next thing he knows, he is bedridden in a ramshackle house with a disheveled nurse tending his needs. At first Zack is grateful for her kindness, but the longer he stays the more oddities he uncovers: his host's sister ages unconsciously in a coma next door, while her brother Raymond is a violent loose cannon. As the realization dawns on Dr. Peters that he is no longer patient but a prisoner, he joins forces with his beautiful fellow prisoner to escape; if they fail, they will forfeit their lives.
