A lonely, bullied at school 12 year old boy strikes up a friendship with a 12 year old girl who moves in next door who in fact is a vampire.
Quiet, haunting Swedish made film that really shouldn't work , but on the whole does apart from one major disapointment for me which i'll go into later. Now t... |

Sweden's "Let the Right One In" directed by Tomas Alfredson , soon to be an American remake. But if there ever was a foreign horror film that should not be remade, it is this one -as much a heartfelt drama as it is a horror movie. A very unique film .. This is a movie that even your non-horror fans ... |

"Let the Right One In" is a quietly haunting (and sometimes poetic) tale about a young bullied boy who befriends a little girl that isn't what she seems to be. It could've been a drama about two pre-teen killers who rely on each other to survive, but it's not. It's a vampire stor... |

This movie may be a vampire love story type movie, but its not gay like Twilight its actulally a very good and well done movie! Its well acted, even by the little ones, and its beautiful and kindly to look at. Its got some action and its got a great original story among two kids.

I know this review is probably unnecessary, since at this point, everyone who knows anything knows that this movie is phenomenal, but alas, I am short on toe tags, and i need more to boost my ego and feel productive. If you somehow have not yet managed to see it, beware the spoilers.Let The Right On... |

You think you have seen what is defining, then there comes that movie. The one movie that not only changes the rules but brings a new definition to the movies it represents. It sits beneath the skin and stays in your mind long after the movie is over. These movies stay with you and they are far and ... |

I would like to state my disdain with American mediocrities and ignorance.
As I am checking out at my local movie store with my copy of Let the Right One In, the dull eyed clerk blurts out the warning that this movie has subtitles. Now, at this point I am massively offended on two leve... |

This creepy, poignant film does for vampires what 28 Days Later did for zombies. In fact, horror fans need to leave the North American offerings behind these days and turn to Europe to find classics of the genre. And this is one of them! This is a haunting, suspenseful coming-of-age tale, giving a te... |

Squeal, squeal like a pig! What a great opening line to this movie. In this flick, we follow blonde hair blue eyed Oscar, a 12 year old boy. Oscar talks to trees. He kind of reminds me of Daeg Faerch's charcter in Zombie's Halloween remake. Our little friend, Oscar, bef... |

Let The Right One In is the vampire movie people have been waiting for. It is the most intelligent and sophisticated film of its ilk since Cronos. It is also the very best genre film to come out this year and in my mind one of the top genre films of the last decade. To classify Rig... |

aka 'Lat Den Ratte Komma In'This is a Swedish film, set in the early 80's, about a 12 year old boy called Oskar who is being bullied by a gang of boys at school. He is befriended by an odd girl called Eli who has moved in next door and is the same age...technically. She just happens to have been 1... |

The third annual “Toronto After Dark Film Festival” kicked off with one of the most original vampire films I have ever seen. It is hard to imagine a film tugging at your heartstrings while the main character is tugging at jugulars with her teeth but “Let The Right One In” is ... |
