What more can be said about The Evil Dead? I mean really, it's 2010. This movie came out nearly 30 years ago. Still, I think it's worthwhile to say a few words about the latest edition of ED, this time in glorious blu-ray Hi-Def.
First thing's first. Don't expect Star Trek. Don't expect Avatar. I s... |

At first glance, Sam Raimi's notorious Evil Dead may seem more campy than scary. But there is good reason that this low-budget masterpiece has delved its way into horror film history.

Evil Dead Review by Mr. Black

[ Overall 91.43% Approval Based on 14 Reviews ]
It was the coolest movie i'd seen since Dawn of the Dead. The setting and the humor in it was good. And for it being as much of a low budget film as it was that makes me like it more. It was graphic and thats how I like my movies. Sam Raimi did an exellent job on this movie. |
Evil Dead Review by Billy D

[ Overall 91.43% Approval Based on 14 Reviews ]
It looks like made this flick for 50 bucks with some duct tape and bubble gum. Great job. It's a totally fun, non-pretensious, old fashioned, doesn't explain every little detail, horror movie from the 70's. With post-modern sensabilities. Woah! No really, it's fun. Check it out. |
