Christmas Charity Programs

I am sure everyone knows I am a huge advocate for charity. I believe that if we all do a little it helps alot. In an effort to get our entire horror community thinking of others I wanted to post and find out what ideas you had for how you and I as individuals can help those in need in our own neighbourhoods or across the nation. Something that takes very little to do but has a great impact. Whether its donating $$$ to a charity organization or taking some food to the Food Bank. What are your ideas?

To give you an idea on how a little goes a long ways. Lets say you and I both skipped our eat out meal this month and instead donated $5 to a local Christmas Charity. If every single member did this it would be $8,495 which is ALOT of money to help alot of families this Christmas. If every single member of our site donated a single canned good item to a local food bank it translates to over 1,000lbs of food!

Both of these suggestions I came up with have no impact on your day to day life or mine and have a huge impact on a families christmas that is in need!

I encourage you to post ideas on what everyone as an individual can do for christmas to help a family in need. Post your ideas on things you want to do or what you have done! Lets once again make an impact as a horror community to do something good in our local communities!  Dont get me wrong this site is still all about hororr news and I am not trying to get on a Pulpit. Hopefully everyone understands where I am coming from and feels the same that if we can we should help others at these special times of the year!
