Romero's Deadtime Stories Filming Begins

Goon

Filming on George A. Romero Presents Deadtime Stories began on Monday in Fayette County in Pennsylvania. The film will consist of three short stories written by Jeff Monahan. Romero won't be just lending his name either but he has also put some of his money into the project as a Exectuvie Producer along with his wife, Christine Forest.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the first story entitled Dust will be directed by Michael Fischa. The story centers on dust samples brought back to Earth from Mars that can cure cancer and also have "some pretty wacky side effects," Monahan tells the paper.

The second film is On Sabbath Hill which will be directed by Monahan. The only details about that story is that it will take place on a College campus. The final installment was not named but is said to be wrapped up by February. Right now there is no solid distribution deals but there are a few theatrical, DVD and cabe offers on the table right now.
