Hellraiser Remake Gets Release Date

Well a date has been set on the remake of Hellraiser. Bloody-Disgusting reports that MGM/Dimension Films announced the remake will hit theaters on September 5, 2008.  If you ask me this could be a great date for the release.  It's just after the summer rush and before the October horror movie release surge.  With a big name title and a release date that could avoid competition, will this be a remake that finds success or will it fail like many remakes do?  Only time will tell as we learn more about the project and it's competition. Stay tuned.
