Paranormal Activity Scaring up Slamdance

Recently I have been hearing a lot of positive things being said about this flick called Paranormal Activity. Information is slim but I think that is really where the success of this film is really coming from. The trailer doesn't reveal much and neither does several of the photos that have popped up online.

The film is the story of a married couple who think there home is haunted. So they set up some cameras to see if they can find any evidence of the supernatural. The film is a 99 minute cut of what the family managed to capture.

Personally I think it is a fantastic idea for an indie film to take this approach. As long as they can create a nice atmosphere this should be a film you keep an eye out for. Paranormal Activity will be playing at the Slamdance Film Festival on Jan. 18 & 20 at 10 AM & 10:30 PM respectively.
