Book of Blood Cast Expands

We have been talking about John Harrison's film adaptation of Clive Barkers Book of Blood for quite some time. So now it appears that somehow the news of the cast has slipped under my radar til now. Not long ago it was announced that Pinhead himself, Doug Bradley was cast. Later it was announced that he would be joined by Sophie Ward and Jonas Armstrong.

Today the Producer Joe Daley announced via Revelations that cenobite Simon Bamford has not only joined the cast but has already wrapped! You may remember Simon as Butterball the ruthlessly overweight cenobite in Hellraiser. Apparently all of the actors in the film are British so it should be an interesting flick.

We are still not sure what kind of budget this one is shooting on and whether or not it will get a theatrical release or not. Be sure to keep it here for more information on that and anything else we manage to dig up about this production.
