New Midnight Meat Train Poster

The adaptation of Clive Barker's Midnight Meat Train is one of my most anticipated films of 2008. I bought director Ryuhei Kitamura's Azumi a little while ago and its a kick ass film blending style and action. After watching it, I have full confidence in Kitamura brining us a kick ass movie (baring any studio interference).

Bloody-Disgusting got their hands on the new poster design for the film. Its a nice little, misty design with Vinnie Jones holding a sort of blade or saw like device, though I am much more partial to the original design, which we got here.

The newer look, while invoking the image of a serial killer, I think it just doesn't capture a sense of style or mood. However, the original does in my opinion. Also I am more partial to the first as it seems less Photoshoped than this new one. Still, catch Clive Barker's Midnight Meat Train in cinemas when it hits May 16, 2008.
