Scarlett Johansson to star in SpongeBob Movie

Scarlett Johansson has played the love interest to several older men including Bill Murray in "Lost in Translation" and Colin Firth in "Girl With a Pearl Earring." Now the 19-year-old is set to voice a character for kids around her own age.

Based on the popular Nickelodeon animated series, Johansson, who began her career when she was eight, will voice Mindy in the upcoming "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie."

Mindy, a new character, is the daughter of the irritable undersea leader King Neptune (Jeffrey Tambor). Alec Baldwin will voice Dennis, a hardnosed hit man. No word on if the 46-year-old Baldwin cartoon falls for Johansson's.

Johansson is currently filming "Synergy" and will next be seen in "A Love Song for Bobby Long" and "Good Woman."

"The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" hits the big screen on Nov. 19.
