Bousman Talks Repo and Saw 5

Today Darren Lynn Bousman posted a blog on his Myspace page regarding what is going on with his current film Repo! and a little update about what is happening with Saw 5. Apparently Repo! has been sent out to the Execs and Bousman sounds very confident about the film. He even had some time to put together a great piece of marketing artwork that you can see to the right.

Bousman mentions at the end of his update that he spoke with the new Saw 5 director David Hackl. He feels a little odd about passing on the baton having directed Saw 2-4 but it has been his life for the past couple of years. According to Bousman the Saw 5 pre-production offices have opened up just a couple blocks away from where he is now.

Oddly at the end of his post he hints that he might try turning Repo! The Genetic Opera into a franchise. Of course it will probably happen if the film pulls in some significant cash during its theatrical run.
