Carpenter returning with L.A. Gothic

Recently on our forums, member G0m4k was trying to dig up information on a possible new John Carpenter film.  While G0m4k found his name attached to a film titled "The Prince", word is that Carpenter is indeed set to make his directorial return but for a film title L.A. Gothic.  Shocktilyodrop reports Carpenter is attached to direct L.A. Gothic and that casting is already underway, with filming possibly to begin as early as March.  L.A. Gothic is set to be produced by Josh Kesselman and Danny Sherman of Principal Entertainment.  Jim Agnew and Sean Keller are penning the script which they agreed to do pre-strike and interestingly enough are also penning Argento's new film Giallo.

L.A. Gothic revolves around five interwoven stories of high-octane horror centering on a vengeful ex-priest's efforts to protect his teenage daughter from the supernatural evils of L.A.'s dark side.
