The Messengers 2 Begins Shooting in April

The sequel to The Messengers will begins shooting in April in Bulgaria according to studio production charts. I am pretty sure Boogeyman 3 will be shooting at the same time in the same place. Makes sense that they throw all their production resources in one place to make the sequel production more cost effective.

This prequel goes back to the farm from the first film to finally learn the story of John Rollins – the simple North Dakota farmer, struggling to save his farm and hold his family together. When he places a mysterious scarecrow in his field his luck changes for the better… but it may be at the cost of his sanity.
