Englund May Return For NOES Remake

Not long ago we recieved word that Platinum Dunes and New Line were going to re-launch the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise. Of course remakes are never good news but it was increasingly painful to think they might go ahead without Robert Englund. Well hopefully this will put all those fears to rest.

Today Clint from Moviehole made some phone calls and he was informed that Robert will be approached about reprising his role. Thank God. I really can't see Englund turning down this offer as he isn't too busy. The only other big project coming up for him will be 2002 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys. For now we can all rest easy but until we get confirmation we'll be on the lookout for casting news.
