Stigmata 2 Gets a Writer

Shock Til You Drop is reporting that MGM has tapped Art Director turned Screen Writer Sean Hood to develop Stigmata 2. Goon told you back in May that MGM was working on a sequel. The first film was pretty simple but still effective. A young woman begins suffering from stigmatas and the priest sent to investigate is still busy battling his own demons.

No details were given about the sequel. Whether this is a theatrical flick or one of MGM's straight to DVD films is also up for debate. My guess however is that it will no doubt go straight to DVD. So keep it here because when we get more information we will be sure to let you know.
