Shady Talez About Urban HorrorGoon
Hip hop and horror always seem to be the one kind of music that is always addressed in horror films. You never really see a horror movie with Dolly Parton but Snoop Dogg has his own horror anthology. What is it about Hip hop that seems to always be drawn to horror?
Today Variety announced that Davis Entertainment's urban genre label, DJ Classicz, is developing the urban horror project Shady Talez for Paramount Pictures. The project features three stories penned by Dallas Jackson and Marlon Chapman that pay hip-hop homage to classic horror films.
"We intend to marry each of the stories with a hot director from the music video and/or film world along with Violator's hip-hop talent roster," Jackson said. This one is going to be interesting folks.
