Behind the Mask wins SATURN Nod

Behind the Mask has gotten a SATURN Nomination for Best DVD Release. Considering how kick ass Behind the Mask was I can not say I am at all surprised. Its good to see an indie horror film getting some nods that was actually good and not just all press and studio generated buzz. I have seen so many movies this year billed as being awesome to discover a) they suck ass and B) the studio with the help of the press spin doctored a piece of crap into a 'must see movie'.

In Behind The Mask the next great psycho horror slasher has given a documentary crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo, all the while deconstructing the conventions and archetypes of the horror genre for them.
