Mirrors Website Opens.. Kind Of

Since it is Monday and the day after the Oscars there isn't much coming down. So I am left to report about a little page that went up for Aja's next film Mirrors. It really has been quite a long time since I have heard anything about this movie. Somehow Aja has managed to keep it very under the radar but judging from he has said about it, Mirrors sounds bad ass:

"Mirrors is a movie that has found a great balance between graphic gore and the supernatural: closer in tone to The Shining, but with a sensibility all its own." Sounds like we will be getting a little mix this time from Aja. He is known for his gore so lets hope he can handle the supernatural element just as well.

Mirrors is actually another Asian remake of a film with the same name. In the remake a department store security guard is involved in a weird phenomonen in which people are dropping dead in front of the mirrors. No word on a release date yet but stay tuned.
