Feast Duo Confirmed for Hellraiser

The news that Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan (Feast, Saw IV) have been tapped to re-write the screenplay for the Hellraiser remake has been known for quite some time. But today Variety has made that news official and has also provided some intriguing information regarding the rewrite.

The team has been given a neck breaking deadline to get the script done for a Spring shoot. Now for anyone else I would be worried because that is a very short amount of time to get work done. However these guys have worked under pressure on almost every project they have done.. The kicker however is that they will be working on the script from the set of Midnight Man which Dunstan is directing. Talk about double duty!

They have also submitted scripts for Saw V and The Tingler remake. As mentioned above Dunstan is also making his directoral debut on Midnight Man. So these guys have been VERY busy. Keep it here for more on the Hellraiser remake.
