New Look for Grudge 3 - HorrorMovies.ca

Today Moviehole got their hands on some casting notes which revealed some interesting news. Apparently we will be getting a new face for the vengeful ghosts, Kayako and Toshio. It seems that Takako Fuji and Yuya Ozeki have passed on part 3. Now I can see how Ozeki might be looking to old for the role but why would Fuji drop out?

I guess there are a couple possibilies. One could be that she is busy doing things in Japan and the other is that she might be shooting the long awaited third Japanese Grudge film. Of course their is no way for us to know. But if you think you can fit the bill get a hold of Ghost House Pictures because they are looking.

The film is being directed by Toby Wilkins best known right now for his work on the Grudge shorts and his upcoming film SPLINTER. Grudge 3 is about a japanese woman who holds the secret to ending the curse of The Grudge. She travels to a haunted Chicago apartment building where she encounters a family battling to survive the ghosts. Together they confront the ghost of Kayako to save their souls from their impending tragic fate. Filming will begin its three week shoot in Bulgaria on March 3rd.
