Cloverfield DVD Specs and Art

This is without a doubt one of the biggest movies I think we have covered on this site, so I am sure plenty of you will be glad to know that you will be able to pick this up on DVD on April 22nd for a suggested retail price of $27.95. The film will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. DVDActive reports that it will include the following special features.

• The Making of Cloverfield
• Cloverfield Visual Effects
• I Saw It! It's Alive! It's Huge
• Clover Fun
• 6 additional scenes (Congrats Rob, When You're in Japan, I Call That a Date, It's Going to Hurt, Alt Ending #1, Alt Ending #2)
• Multiple eastereggs

I have to say I'm a little surprised that they didn't give this a 2 disk release. My guess is in 2 months they will announced some kind of major edition. Especially because this one is gonna sell like hotcakes. Below is the artwork that is supposedly going to have different font when it hits shelves.
