Official Casting Begins for Friday Remake

Just a couple hours ago we informed you that Michael Bailey Smith was definitely in the running for Jason. Well now we have some solid casting information concerning who will be among the potential victims. The Hollywood Reporter says that Jared Padalecki of Supernatural will play the lead.

Well it looks like we got the answer of what kind of cast we were going to be looking at. Lets see what other WB stars they can bring into the cast by the time shooting begins. Honestly however this should have been pretty obvious from the get go. Well I guess it shouldn't matter too much as long as all these faces show up on the chopping block. The release will of course be set on February 13th, 2009.
