Gingerdead Man 2: Passion of the Crust Trailer

About a year ago, Goon filled us in on a sequel to The Gingerdead Man that was rumored to be title The Gingerdead Man 2: Passion of the Crust. Well indeed this film did get made and I recently stumbled upon the trailer. This second installment sees Charles Band move from Director to Exec Producer, with first time director Silvia St Croix at the helm. One more unfortunate thing about the sequel when compared to it's predecessor: no Gary Busey. But if the trailer is any indication, this is still going to be cheesy and a lot of fun.

Gingerdead Man 2: Passion of the Crust revolves around the new owner of a small, down on it's luck indie-movie company. While trying to film a movie to save the company, the horrifying yet delicious and chewy Gingerdead Man causes murder and mayhem on the set.

No word on a release date but while I was looking for more information I found lots of rumors of early 2008. Fingers crossed that we will get a chance to see this one on DVD sometime soon!
