Doug Jones Joins Legion - HorrorMovies.ca

Today Film School Rejects are reporting that Doug Jones, a frequent in Guillermo del Toro films, will be appearing in Legion. Unfortunately they don't have any word on who Jones will play. A good guess would be that he will play one of the countless Angels that will appear in the film.

Jones will be joined by Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Tenney, Charles S. Dutton, Lucas Black, Kate Walsh, Adrianne Palicki, Kevin Durand and Willa Holland will join Paul Bettany in the directing debut of Scott Stewart.

Scripted by Stewart and Peter Schink, the thriller casts Bettany as the archangel Michael, the only one standing between mankind and an apocalypse, after God loses faith in humanity. Man's lone hope rests with a group of strangers who must deliver a baby they realize is Christ in his second coming.

Shooting is about to begin in New Mexico. I'm really not sure which was this project is going. When this many names are attached to one project I have a feeling this want be a lot of fire and brimstone like we are hoping. I'm also curious to see how a first time director will handle so much talent.
