Official News On Ghostbusters 3

Recently there has been a lot of rumors floating around about a possible Ghostbusters 3. During Comic Con it came out that Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow might be involved and then just yesterday Dan Aykroyd spoke and said he would love to have them on board. He also commented that two bright Hollywood writers were working on a script.

Today that was confirmed by Variety. Apparently Columbia Pictures has hired Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky to put together a script. But not just a Ghostbusters 3 script.. Nope. This one is actually going to reunite Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson!

Now that is some great news. I would much rather see the original group back together again than see some new guys suit up. Unless of course it meant getting people like Simon Pegg, Seth Rogen and some other extremely hilarious actors in suit. But I doubt that would ever happen. Lets keep our fingers crossed that everything follows through on this one.
