Storyboard Image for La Horde

Lately, the horror community has been keeping their eye on what the French are putting out as they have had a large crop of great films over the last year or two. So when a new French zombie/cannibal film is in the works, we must talk about it. TwitchFilm got their hands on the first storyboard image for the film La Horde. It doesnt give too much away but does show some creatures in a classic type of zombie pose. Check out the image below and see what I mean.

La Horde takes place in an area north of Paris. In order to avenge the murder of one of their own by a group of ruthless gangsters, four corrupt cops go on a rampage in a condemned building serving as the mobster’s hideout. Now trapped, the officers are about to be executed when the unimaginable occurs: hordes of bloodthirsty, cannibalistic creatures invade the building, savagely attacking everyone. Unexpected alliances are made when their lives are threatened by the unthinkable.

Directed by Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher and Executive Produced by CXavier Gens(Frontieres), La Horde is about one week in on it's seven week shoot. It is set for a TBD 2009 release in France, but who knows when we will see it elsewhere. Also be on the lookout for Dahan & Rocher's short film prequel to La Horde titled Rivoallan that sets up the events of La Horde.
