New Poster For Bloody Valentine Remake

I haven't seen the original My Bloody Valentine as of yet, so I am a bit curious with the remake.  More because of the fact its the first 3D horror show of the new digital age.  FYI for everyone, 3D shows do cost extra because the projectors eat so much energy showing the 3D shows..most theaters its $2.50 extra...just a heads up.

The remake is being released through Lionsgate and recently a lot of fans have a had a bit of a beef with the studio over its treatment of a certain film.  Even so, Lionsgate is still a friend of the horror fan...or are they?

The reason why I say this is that UGO has a first look at the new poster for MBV...and umm....well...I dunno what to say.  It looks like Ed Wood rose from the dead and designed it himself after being given to cheesey themepark images and access to Photoshop.  See the complete horror here.

Alright, you've seen the poster and now know that the previous paragraph wasn't sarcasm.  There is no excuse whatsoever to have a poster like that for a horror film.  I challenge anyone at Lionsgate to say that its the best poster to see a 3D horror film.

My Bloody Valentine in 3D is helmed by Patrick Lussier (Dracula 2000, White Noise 2: The Light) and will be released on January 16th, 2009...hopefully without that poster tagging along....
