The key word here is that Danny Boyles will direct 28 Months later if the studio allows it. In a quote from Slashfilm we get the following;

I’d certainly like to…I feel the idea is quite a strong idea, and it could well involve directing it. Yeah, absolutely.

28 Weeks later is one of my favorite new-age-ish zombie tales and even its sequel 28 Weeks Later impressed the hell out of me. I think a strong move the studio can make is to put Danny in the directors seat for 28 Months later. What do you think?
