American Werewolf In London DVD Update

We have been covering Paul Davis' Beware the Moon documentary since filming began. It seems like it has been years and finally it looks like everything is finally coming together. Today Paul Davis updated us all in his blog about what is happening with his documentary and DVD. Below are some very interesting points that he was able to reveal:

- The documentary is 98mins long. That is final. It can either be watched in 13 individual segments or you can play all for the full documentary experience.

- It features stills and photographs never seen before. Most of which are courtesy of cast and crew members - including John Landis' entire production still collection that was lent to us for free by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.

- Most exciting of all, the documentary will feature NEVER BEFORE SEEN test footage of some of Rick Baker's creations for the movie, namely the the change-o-hand and change-o-head, the Jack puppet and the full size walking werewolf costume.

- The DVD will feature both the extras of the 20th Anniversary DVD and a host of new features to accompany the brand new documentary. We tested one of the new extras in the cutting room and it is pretty damn cool! Any fan of the movie will find it fascinating!

- Look for Universal to announce the release date in January.

- It will be on both Blu-Ray and DVD for those who haven't upgraded yet.
