The Crow Reboot Is Coming

I'm not sure if we want to chalk this up as another remake or not but apparently Stephen Norrington has signed on to write and direct a reinvention of The Crow. This version will be another adaptation of the original comic created by James O'Barr. Variety reports Ryan Kavanaugh’s Relativity Media is negotiating with producer Ed Pressman to acquire the film franchise and finance the film.

In the original rock musician Eric Draven is murdered trying to rescue his girlfriend from thugs, and returns from the dead one year later to exact vengeance. The film is most notable in that it was Bruce Lee's son Brandon Lee who played the lead character. During the filming of the movie it is believed by many that the "Lee Curse" followed Brandon onto the set when a dummy bullet shot out of one of the guns and killed him.
