The Homecoming Synopsis and First Poster
This one really caught my eye when it came around today from Quiet Earth. It sound like a really cool movie, and since it has Sergio G. Sanchez as captain of the ship, its sure to sail straight and true. Sanchez was the writer behind "The Orphanage", and is now attempting his directorial debut.
The Synopsis: Nate and Alice are spending the last days of summer with their parents in a small cabin on a remote island when their parents inform them that they’re going to separate. When they leave the island, they discover that every last one of the inhabitants of the closest town has died.
Little by little they discover that they are not the only ones left alive on the planet but the rest of the survivors of the catastrophe represent a threat from which they must run without respite until they finally reach home and find the answer to all their questions.
Sounds like Harry Potter meets 28 days later or something to that effect - I jotted this down on my "must-see" list. When we get more details of release dates and whatnot, we'll be sure to pass it along.
