Toys Spoils Terminator Salvation Plot?

Ok first off DO NOT read this article if you do not want a potentially huge spoiler for Terminator Salvation. I saw this photo on Slashfilm last week and did not post it but today after reading Io9 I just could not help but post and get your opinion. Stop Reading now! Potential huge spoiler!

The spoiler that hit the web a very long time ago was that their would be a huge TERMINATOR twist. That twist was supposed to be that Conner would be a terminator. That begs the question is the rumor confirmed with the photo below? Who is that on the right hand side? Is that John Conner? If he is a Terminator thats a huge and cool twist which would make sense to me. If the past has changed so has the future... so why wouldnt conner be a Terminator? then again... How do you make that into 3 films?
