Fincher Eager for SEVEN Sequel

David Fincher revealed that he is incredibly excited to do a sequel for SEVEN. There has been a ton of talk over the years of a potential sequel and in a quote from Variety ( via AITH ) Fincher says that he is really stoked, quote;

"I would be less interested in that than I would in having cigarettes put out in my eyes. I keep trying to get out from under my own shadow. I don't want to do the same shit over and over."

Gee... its almost as if he does not want to do it. So yes friends the sarcasm may not have translated in the title of this news but it is very much safe to say that David Fincher is not doing SEVEN 2. SEVEN is one of my favorite thrillers but I do tend to think a sequel really lacks any logic when you consider the ending was so final and obvious. Then again.. this is hollywood.
