Two Comics Visit a Cabin in the Woods
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Joss Whedon, the genius behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Drew Goddard (Lost, Alias) have been keeping details about their new horror film, Cabin in the Woods under wraps, but are claiming it to be the "horror film to end all horror films". Well today, some information about the casting finally got released, but it really throws a wrench in things!

So who are these two superstars of horror that have been cast for this highly anticipated movie?
Well Whedon and Goddard have really thrown out a wrench for us on this one!
They cast comedy actors Richard Jenkins (Burn After Reading, Step Brothers) and Bradley Whitford (Billy Madison, Kate & Leopold)! WTH? Whedon answers our question about this bizarre casting by stating that,
"they are the first proof that though Cabin in the Woods is a classic horror film, it isn't one you've seen before".
Well it's certainly sounding like it so far. Goddard furthered Mr. Whedon's comments with his own wit -
"It's really just your basic typecasting: When you need two actors to run through the woods in low-cut nighties, you immediately think of Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford".
You are correct Mr. Goddard - that has been my wet-dream since hitting puberty!!Jenkins and Whitford are expected to play a couple of white collar guys who have a mysterious connection to the cabin. Hmmm - a mysterious connection that they feel they must return to the island err I mean Cabin. Mr. Goddard have you mixed up all of your scripts with LOST episodes??
