Underworld 4 Travels to the Future?

Depending on how well Underworld 3 goes we may get us an Underworld 4. The folks at STYD have a very vague update on where Underworld 4 may or may not go;

"I'm kind of flirting with ideas of what would take place in the future. I'm just glad people are accepting that we can jump around in the time line and people are interested. Hopefully they'll be willing to accept different stories because the characters are there and they're immortal. It would be fun to go forward again."

It could be interesting to see things go forward in the timeline but since present day has already been done where do they go? Into the distant future? Of course all will depend on how well Underworld 3 does.
