SAW 3D?

AAAAHHHH!!!!!!  I'm sorry everyone, I just had the most horrible nightmare.  It was worse than Michael Bay producing a remake of Razorback, worse than running in a dark forest from an army of rabid badgers and worse than remembering theater checking during the Hannah Montana: Best of Both Worlds Concert 3D and having to listen to that awful drek...well...wait...no...not much is worse than that.

But in this dream, I heard voices speak of another Saw sequel after part six.  But, it's good to know in reality, that this will never happen.  Now, let me relax myself with looking at the new horror news.  Underworld 3 does well in theaters, Asylum's Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus has just wrapped shooting, producers are thinking about a 3D Saw, Uwe...wait...a 3D Saw?  Poop...

Yes, so it seems.  STYD got a chance to chat with some of the producers of Twisted Pictures and yes...they are considering a Saw in 3D.  The producers haven't decided if they will do Saw VI in 3D or do a seventh movie.  But, I should stress, the producers are just mulling over the idea of a 3D movie, nothing has been made official.

You know, I really can't say much about this.  I've reached wits end with the Saw franchise.  3D to me this late in the franchise seems like a desperate bid to keep alive a franchise that should have died several films before.  *cough*Freddy'sDead*cough*  3D Saw wouldn't do much or anything for me.

But once again, nothing has gotten past the pondering phase concerning a 3D Saw sequel.  The next movie in the series, Saw VI hits theaters October 23, 2009.
