William Forsythe to Play Mr. Gacy

Goon

Today the trades announced that producer Clark Peterson would now be undertaking "Dear Mr. Gacy," based on the real-life story of Jason Moss, a college student who became obsessed with notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy. The project is based on the memoir "The Last Victim" by Jason Moss, who began corresponding with Gacy in 1994, the last year of the killer's life. Moss eventually met Gacy on Death Row and even narrowly escaped an attack by him.

Sadly in 2006 however Moss committed suicide after he had gained a somewhat celebrity status. The book that he wrote was often described as a real life Silence of the Lambs. I have never personally read the book but it sounds like he heard alot of things he probably would have much rather had not heard.

The big news that was inclosed in the article is that William Forsythe will play John Wayne Gacy and The Uninvited star Jesse Moss will portray Jason Moss. Odd that they both have that same last name.. Filming is expected to pick up in Vancouver this month.
